Camp is creeping up!!!

Camp is now less than 2 weeks away!!!

Make sure you have.....
* Handed in your permission slip
* Gone through the Gear list and packed accordingly
* Paid your money to the Student Lobby
* Asked Mrs Thomas questions you need clarified

What can I expect?????

- Ngatuhoa Lodge is found in the midst of the Kaimai Ranges. If you have ever been to McLarens Falls, Ngatuhoa is nestled quite a long way West, beyond the Falls.

- Even though it is not that far from Tauranga, Ngatuhoa is VERY remote (ie: Isolated, a long way from civilisation, NO CELLPHONE RECEPTION).

- There are lots and lots of activities we can and will do at Ngatuhoa Lodge, including...
* Kayaking
* WALKING
* Having Fun
* Abseiling
* Burma Trail
* Swimming
* Having Fun
* Tubing
* WALKING
* Obstacle course
* Having Fun
* Candle Rafting
* Getting to know each other better
* WALKING
and
* Having Fun!!!!

Week 8

Hi Guys,

Only 3 weeks to go!!! We have pretty much set up our Rights, Responsibilities and Routines (although we do need to finish our wall display). Now the focus will be well and truly on our Key Competency for the term which is of course "Relating to Others".

Of course another Key Comp that we need to continue to build on is our ability to "Manage-self". This includes coming to school with all of the correct equipment; managing time frames (homework and school work); and ensuring that we stay calm-settled and on-task.

I am looking forward to another great week. How great was it to see Room 16 in the newspaper!!

Keep up the good work.
